When I first came to Dr. Kitchen's office, I had suffered from back pain for several years.  I had gone to my family doctor and a orthopedic doctor with no improvement.  It got to a point where I could hardly get into or out of my car.  All I could do was go to and from work.  I didn't feel like doing anything else.  I pretty much got used to dealing with the pain and accepted that's the way it was goin to be the rest of my life.  I saw Dr. Kitchen's ad in the yellow pages and went to his website.  With all the different types of treatments he offered, I thought I had nothing to lose.  After the first treatment I felt a lot of improvement, and with in three treatments, I'm like a new person.  I can do most anything I did 20 years ago "NO PAIN"!  I would recommend "and have" Dr. Kitchen to anyone who has back or joint problems.  No one should ever accept pain as a way of life. I can't thank Dr. Kitchen and his wonderful staff enough for what they have done for me.

I received a successful hip replacement 4 years ago. 1 year ago I started having severe pain in the lower back, right hip and right calf area, also the toes on my right foot went numb. As the pain progressed, my right leg on several occasions, “Just popped out” and I fell. I started using a quad cane to walk for stability; needless to say I never went fishing or hunting one time last year (my hobbies).

I was referred by an orthopedic surgeon to CCWC and Dr. Kitchen and staff for possible help and treatment. X-rays and MRI were taken. The diagnosis was “lower lumbar stenosis” a narrowing of the spinal cord canal, and arthritis. I was scheduled for physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments 3 times a week for 12 sessions. I knew after the second treatment I was going to make it. At age 65 I do hove some pain in the morning, but it soon leaves with a bit of stretches. I did get to start hunting this winter season and am looking forward to spring fishing with my lab dog Deek.

I believe the CCWC form of chiropractic treatment is unique because it integrates several forms. Hands on manipulation of the spine and body, physical therapy, which I have learned is very important, and electrode therapy that relaxes the back muscles. I would suspect most anyone with back, neck, or leg pain would certainly benefit from chiropractic treatment.

My True Testimonial: I believe Dr. Kitchen, Laurel (exercise specialist), and the whole staff at CCWC saved me from what I believe would have been a bad outcome if I had not contacted them and started treatment.

As a very physical person my daily routine of home chores and at work duties came to a halt when I experienced sharp lower back and right leg pains. Although the pain was constant I tried to resume a work schedule. Standing, sitting and bending over became a thing of the past. I had to lay flat on my back every few minutes to find a sweet spot to dull the pain. This went on for 2 weeks then I thought that was it. My wife then took me to the hospital for x-rays and to see a doctor. After that visit I was led to believe my pain was muscular strain not structural. I was given muscle relaxers and pain pills; there was not comfort in this treatment. I then saw my family doctor which tried to get me an MRI that insurance denied. I spent the 3rd week laying flat on the floor, out of work, couldn’t even walk. My wife then made an appointment with CCWC, with the help of family I made it to my first appointment. After seeing Dr. Kitchen on that first visit I found out I had a vertebra out of line. He then treated me using chiropractic techniques, something I never thought I would do. Following that treatment I wasn’t the only one to be amazed that I walked out of that office by myself. Since then I’ve followed up with treatments and physical therapy at CCWC. Now I am dedicated to my health and grateful for chiropractic care.

In 2003 I was in an accident where a truck pulled out in front of my husband and me on a motorcycle. I received a broken femur in my right leg, fracture in my neck and a broken pelvis in two places. After extensive therapy and five years later I had healed but had some back pain, little balance and leg pain. A friend of mine was seeing Dr. Kitchen and spoke highly of him. After my first visit I was able to move and walk so much better with only him stretching me. I’m playing golf much better and getting up and down better without pain. I had seen four Dr’s before him; none of them had attacked my problem of alignment. I have been seeing him on a regular basis and functioning much better. I recommend anyone with a balance issue and pain to see a chiropractor for this problem. I am ecstatic!!

I came to CCWC after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I had been treated by my family doctor, a back specialist, and was scheduled to see a pain management physician. They had tried several pain medications (including Novocain and steroid shots) and nothing seemed to help. I could not drive and had to use a walker to walk around; I was unable to do most of my normal activities, in fact walking was torture. After the first few sessions I was able to do more, and I am now only using a cane when I am out of the house and walking a lot. Dr. Kitchen has worked on my back for several weeks now and never caused me any discomfort. I believe anyone with the same diagnosis should give the CCWC a chance; in fact I have already recommended it to several of my acquaintances.

When I came to CCWC my upper back and feet were making life very difficult. I was also having left hip pain which is a prosthesis. I've had pain off and on for 3-4 years. I had gone to a chiropractor over the last 2 1/2 years with only minimal relief. The pain would come and go. I've also gone to 3 podiatrists and was told only surgery would help. I've been limited in my walking and enjoying my dog and gradchildren. I have finished 2 full weeks at CCWC and my back is still tender at times and my feet are improving. My left foot is much better but the left foot is still painful but is getting better. What I like about CCWC is the time spent and explanations given concerning my problems. I highly recommend CCWC if you want more from your everyday life. Regardless of age, they will help minimize your pain and maximize your life.

I brought my youngest son Pierce in for treatment after seeing his Pediatrician and then not helping him and Dr. Kitchen diagnosed him with a lower back spasm. After his first visit Pierce felt better. While he never stopped playing basketball, he went from severe pain during the games to no pain after a couple of visits. It took a total of five visits to relieve all the pain I would  recommend C.C.W.C. to anyone that has lower back pain to give them a try.

I had an episode where I could not get out of my chair. They called the squad, 8 hours in the ER, 3 bottles of pain/anti-inflamatorys, home, worse than before. Monday, family doctor. "Just have to run its course." Home, more, worse pain, son says get up you are going to my Chiropractor, I was desperate! I went in all bent over, walked out straight NO PAIN, this episode was over! Then a few more visits and I got out of bed and to my suprise and delite, NO PAIN, for the past 20 years I have gotten out of bed in pain, dreading the day ahead. Now, I thank god every morning for this indescribable delight of facing the day with a good outlook and no dread. Knowing that I would still be waking up groaning with pain if I hadn't had that episode. My poor mom suffered for years of back pain, so I thought I was destined to always suffer. Now I tell everyone about my Chiropractor... I have referred lots of people but the 3 so far who have come in have experienced the same remarkable changes. One with leg pain, one with arm pain, and one with back pain...... I wished I had come in to this office years ago... I believed unless you had a specific injury, like my son's car accident, that there was no need to see a Chiropractor, boy was I wrong! If you are in pain, anywhere on your body, just try my Chiropractor, 20 minutes or less in this office will let you know if they can help, if not you have wasted 20 minutes. If they can help, OH WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

I recommend CCWC to everyone I know, because I have recieved excellent care here. Before I met doctor Kitchen I was not a believer in chiropractors, however he proved to me that he is very knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. So after a very very bad experience in physical therapy I changed and am very thankful. I have recieved great care.

I have really been blessed to be able to have had the opportunity to be treated by C.C.W.C.  I was in major pain and unable to do alot of simple things that someone at the age of 45 should be able to do with ease. After just one treatment at C.C.W.C. I felt like I did years ago I could move with ease, bend over and touch the floor and the pain had eased enough that I actually was able to go for days without pain medication. I know for my condition I will need more treatment but I look forward  and my appointmnts and the relief I know I will be able to experience.

I was told that it would take two to three months for my ankle to be ready to play baseball. When I came into see Dr. Kitchen, he told me that he would have me back to playing in two weeks. I didn't believe it at first. I was in here three times per week. In Dr. Kitchen's office that is. I was able to get back with my team and play baseball after a week and six days.

When I first came to Dr. Kitchen I had been in a car accident and also a house fire. Upon him examining me and with my x-rays he has helped align where I needed it the most. I also had two right shoulder surguries in the last two years and he has made the pain and the arthritis more bearable to live with.  Dr. Kitchen is very accurate on my diagnosis and made me feel very welcomed, and the gals at the front desk have always been so helpful.  Dr. Kitchen has opened new avenues for me in the future to be able to play with my granddaughter more without alot of pain and soon I will be 100% again along with regular visits keep me aligned so I can feel better about myself. Thank you so much for helping me recognize what problems I had and will continue to see Dr. Kitchen for regular adjustments. You and your staff are excellant and I highly recommend Dr. Kitchen to all my friends and family for any back-leg problems. Again Thank you.

I have had lower back pain that went into my hip, leg, foot for about six years. I had to have injections in my back, therapy, and I went to a Chiropractor for about five years in the past. I couldn't work or play with my grandkids without having a lot of pain. Then I heard about Dr. Kitchen. Within two or three weeks after seeing Dr. Kitchen, I can work now and not have the fear that I'm not going to be able to move without constant pain. The treatment that I have received is so different from that in the past. It has been wonderful. If anyone is having pain that just won't go away I highly recomend Dr. Kitchen's. I honestly think you would benefit from this type of treatment. I am a walking testomony of how you will be painfree. And his staff is very friendly and extremely helpful.

I came here after having an injury at work to my neck and shoulder. ALso I had a couple of ribs not moving properly due to a problem in my middle back. My neck injury was causing me to have terrible headache, extreme dizziness, and blurred vision. My ribs made me feel at the Kealth Center at my place of work, where they perscribed muscle relevers, did massage, and heat. I had no improvement in a month so I changed physiciansand came here. After my very first appointment and adjustment my vision was clear and the dizziness was gone. After two weeks of treatment I was back to work full duty, after being off for 1 1/2 months. The physical therapy has helped so much, because before my injury my arms were weak while doing very heavy lifting at my job. Now my job is easier because my arms and upper body are much stronger.

Now I am almost pain free. I still have discomfort in my thighs and even that is going away day by day thanks to Shawn's treatments.

Thanks Shawn I know that I will feel better than I have in a long time in your care.

When I first  came to C.C.W.C. I could not raise my left arm due to a cancer surgery. This was a terrible condition since I teach ASL and interpret for the deaf and hearing impaired. With the help of Dr. Kitchen I was able to resume my interpreting and instruction.

As a result of further surgery on my help and knees Mindy and Dr. Kitchen continued my care through intensive physical therapy and I am again on my way to recovery.

Through their teaching and physical therapy I now know the difference between "Good Pain and Bad Pain". This is great knowledge for anyone in physical therapy situations, since we tend to stop when pain occurs. I have complete trust and confidence in the Doctor's and Staff of C.C.W.C.

On my first visit my left arm was completely useless. Through working with Dr. Kitchen, adjustments and rehab. combined I am now able to have use of my left hand and fingers as well as my left arm. If it was not for coming here, I would not have any use of my arm. I am greatful for the staff and all they have done for me. This office is highly recommended for any diagnosis of treatment.
